Message from Principal Lemelle

Welcome back to the 2024-2025 school year! I hope you all had a restful and rejuvenating summer break. As we step into this new academic year, I am filled with excitement and anticipation for the incredible journey ahead.

At Clarkston High School, we are committed to our Gold Standard of Excellence. This year, we are not just aiming for excellence; we are going for GOLD! Our Gold Standard encompasses Character, Citizenship, Scholarship, and Service, and we are determined to shine brighter than ever before in each of these areas.

Character: We believe in fostering a community where integrity, respect, and kindness are at the forefront. This year, let’s challenge ourselves to be the best versions of ourselves, supporting and uplifting one another.

Citizenship: As members of the Clarkston community, we have a responsibility to contribute positively. Whether it’s through community service, leadership roles, or simply being a good neighbor, let’s make a difference together.

Scholarship: Academic excellence is a cornerstone of our school. Our dedicated teachers and staff are here to support you in achieving your highest potential. Let’s embrace the challenges and celebrate the successes that come with learning and growth.

Service: Giving back is a vital part of who we are. This year, we will have numerous opportunities to engage in service projects that benefit our school and the wider community. Let’s work together to make a meaningful impact.

As we embark on this new school year, I encourage each of you to set high expectations for yourselves and to strive for greatness in all that you do. Remember, we are the Angoras, and together, we can achieve anything!

Let’s make the 2024-2025 school year our best one yet. Go for GOLD, Angoras!

With enthusiasm and pride,

Pattie Lemelle | Principal Clarkston High School
